Why is my pool green?
Usually a green pool is due to low sanitizer level or neglect.
Why is my pool cloudy?
1) Pool filtration
2) Time to shock the pool
3) High pH
4) Insufficient run time
Why is my filter pressure higher than normal?
High pressure usually indicates a dirty filter in need of a backwash.
Why is my filter pressure lower than normal?
Low pressure usually indicates that the pump and skimmer baskets need to be emptied. Other possibilities could be a clogged impeller or clogged line.
What Is pH?
pH is a term used to indicate the level of acidity or alkalinity of water on a scale of 0-14 with 7 being neutral.
Why is pH so important?
High pH will cause scale, cloudy water, chlorine inefficiency, eye irritation and clogged filters. Low pH will cause corrosion, etching, chlorine loss and eye and skin irritation.
Why do I need stabilizer (cyanuric acid)?
Stabilizer or cyanuric acid helps prevent the loss of chlorine from the sun’s UV radiation.
What is Optimizer?
Optimizer is a tetraborate product that will enhance water quality and comfort to swimmers as well as prevent algae. It removes the carbon dioxide from the water. (Carbon dioxide is the food source for algae.)
